YADEC aims to increase the rate of employment and self-employment among women to reach at least the same employment rate as society has in general. The ultimate objective of YADEC vocational skills training programs is to enable the beneficiaries to attain self-sufficiency and financial independence by providing girls and women with the opportunity to find employment or run their own business. Vocational training delivered by YADEC is directly linked to local market opportunities, the development of the country, and the wishes of the resident girls and women. It includes sewing, small business management, handicrafts, short courses on various income-generating trainings, and social work training with the potential for residents' future employment.
